Guard customization: Note! Boiling water can be dangerous!

1- Boil the water and let it sit for 30 seconds before immersing the adult mouthguard in the water for 70 seconds. (30 seconds for children).

2- Remove the mouthguard from the water with a spoon, shake off the water, and as soon as possible, center the mouthguard over your upper teeth. (The mouthguard should be warm.)

3- When your upper teeth are centered, gently bite them together and suck out the air and excess water from the mouthguard with your tongue. You can also use your fingers to press the mouthguard into place on the outside.

4- Leave the mouthguard in your mouth for 30 seconds, remove it, and run it under cold water.

If the fit is not perfect, repeat the process until it is optimal.

If the protector is a little too big, you can cut off some of its ends with a knife.
