The EPIC SCS is the beautiful result of a combined effort between Dan Holm and Nick Darger to design the best SCS imaginable. After 13 months in CAD creating different cuts, extrusions and clamp sizes, we finally settled upon our winner. Once chosen a rigorous amount of prototyping began, comparing different inside diameters, bolt patterns and heights. After all this hard work, we are very proud to bring you the very best SCS clamp on the market.

The EPIC SCS boast a higher step than almost every other clamp on the market. This clamp is able to fit 1.8" of forktube, instead of the standard 1.5". What does this mean? Well, with many brands not sticking to the standard headtube size, often times your parts do not line up as planned. Our SCS gives an extra 3 tenths of an inch for your fork to fit in the clamp, in case the headtube is shorter than the standard. This means no more jamming headset spacers under your SCS, just the clean lines of the EPIC SCS.

Now, you may think because the step is 1.8" tall that the clamp will be 3.6" tall, resulting in a heavy and bulky clamp. Well that is not the case. We spent months prototyping our bolt pattern and inside diameters so we could keep the top of our clamp at 1.5", putting the overall height at only 3.3". This combined with our stylish side cuts bring the weight with hardward down to only 8.6 ounces. Just like all of our products, its USA made quality will not let you down.
