The Root Industries Type R GT Pro Scooter is the ultimate pro-level stunt scooter. At just 3.1kg, this scooter is very light for its size, making it easy to manoeuvre and control. It also features a 5-inch wide deck and 600mm high bars, giving you plenty of room to perform tricks. The Type R GT is packed with innovative features including HMA aluminium bars, Lotus wheels, GT clamp, Fractal grips, Air headset and cold-forged monobloc forks.

The Type R GT’s all-new deck is 5 inches wide and 19.5 inches long, providing ample foot room while minimising the risk of flyouts. Made from magnesium-rich 6061 aircraft aluminium alloy, the deck is incredibly light yet strong, thanks to its triple channelled chainstay design. The HMA bars/handlebars are made from a Hi-Modulus alloy that retains the lightness of normal aluminium but is 25% stronger. The Lotus wheels are an evolution of the Honeycore wheels, with a softer PU compound for better control on smooth surfaces. The Ultra High Rebound + Grip PU is optimised for indoor skateparks and smooth concrete, providing speed with added grip/handle.

The Type R GT also features our new Fractal grips, designed using AI to create efficient grooves that disperse sweat faster, keeping your hands dry and improving grip. The stylish GT clamp reduces the weight of the scooter while providing excellent clamping force thanks to two high-tensile 6mm bolts.
